Last night we went to the neighbouring town of Pietrasanta. A medieval town known for its artists and galleries. The town is very lively! Before dinner we walked around and explored. We enjoyed the amazing Botero exhibit. On Susan's advice, we went to L'Enoteca Marcucci for dinner. It was amazing..... the food, the beautiful scenery and our animated waiter. After dinner we watched "cirque de soleil" style street performers in the main square! We loved this town...Thursday, 9 August 2012
Pietrasanta
We are slowly getting into the Forte groove. Wake up around 10 so as not to miss the buffet breakfast...Erin, egg white omelet, Syd, poached eggs...Ryan, pound cake, pancakes and white bread (i could cry). Bike to the beach...walk, read, crosswords, boggle, scrabble.... Ryan cuts out early to catch some Olympics in Italian.
