Francesco came to pick us up by boat to take us to Capri. The nine of us walk to the beach single file to avoid getting killed. On the way to Capri we took a quick swim off the boat at Li Galli, the once private island of Rudolph Nureyev. It is "Africa" hot here!! After taking the crowded, sweaty Funicular up to the town of Capri we walked around and did a little window shopping and lunch. Bev and I had a great time trying to figure out the story of the family of 25 from New Joisey at the next table, Mama Mia! There was a lot of pointing and analyzing and Jim was only worried that Vinnie and Mario were gonna come over to our table and say "what the f***?" Two highlights; skinny mirror in miu miu (I didn't try anything on but I did look at myself for a bit) and Ryan's trip to the bathroom in the Quissisana hotel. He was happy! The town is very beautiful but very crowded and touristy. Before leaving Capri we went into the famous Blue Grotto by rowboat. Jimmy and Ryan jumped into the water. It is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and the colour of the water is incredible!!!
Lunch at da Giorgio
The view from our boat to someone's private yacht.
Boat envy!
We all enjoyed a late night dinner at Il Pino in the town of Praiano (a five minute drive from our villa.)
